The 5th Conference on Language Teaching and Learning was held on May 7, 2023, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry. This annual event attracted the participation of researchers, experts, and students to discuss the latest trends and developments in foreign language teaching and learning. The conference provided a platform for exchanging ideas, presenting research findings, and discussing best practices in the field.
This year’s conference was organized under the theme, “Innovative Approaches in Foreign Language Teaching and Learning.” The event featured nearly 50 presenters who addressed a wide range of topics related to language and language education, including the use of technology in teaching and learning, task-based language teaching, language assessment and evaluation, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), teacher training and professional development, multilingualism and language policy, linguistic and intercultural communication, corpus linguistics, learner autonomy and motivation, sociolinguistics, and information technology in language education.
The conference served as a valuable opportunity for specialists in the field to share experiences and the most up-to-date approaches to support effective language learning and acquisition. The conference provided the latest insights and enabled teachers and researchers in foreign language education to stay informed about current trends and developments in the discipline.
